This isn't just a regular cotton hoodie with a Volcom logo slapped on it. The 290g hydrophobic fleece helps shed moisture and gives you a better layer for actually snowboarding. The baggy fit gives it that proper snowboard look with plenty of room to move.

The riding hood has a bungee cinch to help keep it in place when you're moving, while thumbholes keep the sleeves where they belong. Zippered hand pockets are another nice touch when you're riding—you don't have to worry about your phone or keys disappearing somewhere under the chairlift.

Buzz's Take: If you've spent any time riding Vail in the spring, you know exactly where the Hydro fits in. Hoodie weather, soft snow and laps until the lifts close.
