Buzz’s Boards has been Vail’s go-to shop for ski and snowboard rentals, sales, and service for decades. We’re committed to making sure our customers get the best possible experience on the mountain — and that starts with well-tuned gear. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Ski Tuner to join our team in the tuning department.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform ski and snowboard tuning services including edging, waxing, base repair, and binding checks
• Operate tuning equipment (grinders, edge sharpeners, wax machines, etc.) safely and efficiently
• Inspect customer equipment for damage and recommend appropriate services
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
• Ensure quick turnaround while maintaining high-quality work standards
• Assist with rental returns, adjustments, and minor repairs when needed
• Communicate with customers about tuning options and upsell shop services

Qualifications

• Prior ski/snowboard tuning experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of ski/snowboard equipment and maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume shop during peak season
• Must be able to lift and carry ski/snowboard equipment (up to 40 lbs)
