Buzz’s Boards is a trusted, locally owned ski and snowboard shop in the heart of Vail. We pride ourselves on delivering top-quality gear, expert service, and a welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. We’re looking for a motivated Rental Tech / Salesman to join our team and help provide an exceptional mountain experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers with ski and snowboard rentals, ensuring proper fit and setup
• Provide knowledgeable sales support for retail products including skis, snowboards, boots, apparel, and accessories
• Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive shopping/rental experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of rental and retail areas
• Perform basic equipment checks, adjustments, and tuning (training provided)
• Process sales, rentals, and returns through the point-of-sale system
• Work collaboratively with the shop team to meet daily goals

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of skiing/snowboarding and related equipment strongly preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during peak season
• Strong communication and people skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Must be able to lift and carry ski/snowboard equipment (up to 40 lbs)
