The Volcom V.Co Nyle Glove is a solid everyday snowboard glove without the price tag of a full GORE-TEX setup. It's warm, waterproof, comfortable and has everything you actually need for putting in days on the mountain.

Volcom uses a V-Science 2-layer shell with a waterproof insert to keep the snow out, backed up with 80g Thinsulate™ insulation and a soft brushed tricot lining for warmth. It's enough insulation for regular winter riding without making the glove overly bulky.

The silicone printed palm gives you some extra grip for grabbing your board and strapping in, while the neoprene undercuff and Velcro wrist cinch keep the fit low-profile and secure under your jacket.

Buzz's Take: You don't always need to spend GORE-TEX money to get a good snowboard glove. The Nyle is warm, comfortable and waterproof enough for everyday riding. If you're looking for a straightforward glove that gets the job done without killing the budget, this is a good one.
